RAUM
Facade & Routing
The city of Rotterdam designated this building on Stadhuisplein as working space for the cultural sector. We developed the name, identity, façade and routing for this anonymous building. The German word ’RAUM’ has many connotations, from the functional to the poetical, and gives a small nod to the past.
The withered façade panels are covered with typography in white film, spanning the entire width of the building. It freshens up the building’s appearance and unifies the diverse collection of initiatives, studios and people in the building.
